allegations of bullet for the supervisor, court told A Supreme Court Judge is to decide if the St. Ann businessman and the former senior employee of Cool Oasis who are charged in the multi-million dollar fuel racket are suitable for bail as the resident magistrates court in St. Ann’s Bay have denied bail to the two.

Resident Magistrate Vaughn Facey says the charges against are too serious for bail to be offered bail at this time.

Hansley Berry of Runaway Bay in St. Ann and who operates several businesses in the parish and D’Andra Gibbs, former employee of Cool Oasis and also a businesswoman of  Tower Isle in St. Mary sre jointly charged with the alleged racket.
Additionally, the magistrate believes Gibbs is a flight risk and might flee the jurisdiction.  After the discrepancy was discovered at the company and Gibbs was allegedly spoken to by her supervisor, she resigned her job and boarded a flight destined for Canada. She was removed from the flight before it departed the country. The prosecution claims that Gibbs, knowing that a probe was underway, was trying to flee the jurisdiction to avoid prosecution.
The two are also facing more charges and investigators attached to the Major Organized Crime and Anti Corruption Agency (MOCA) say even mores charges are likely against them.  They are accused of being involved in the gas racket that has cost Cool Oasis approximately $100-M. That figure is expected to increase.
Last Friday investigators in the case slapped D’andra Gibbs, 26 years old, with an additional 17 counts of falsification of accounts and 17 counts of conversion. This adds to the  29 counts of falsification of accounts, 29 counts of conversion and conspiracy with which she was previously charged. That’s 92 counts against her.
NEW AMOUNT

MOCA investigators say the new charges are in relation to discrepancies with the accounts at Cool Oasis between October and December last year and that this new period amounts to $30-M.

Thirty-nine-year-old Berry who is charged along with Ms Gibbs is also expected to be slapped with new charges arising from the same period last year. Berry is already charged with 29 counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy. MOCA says more charges are likely to be laid against the two once an audit at the company is completed.

The two accused were previously charged for discrepancies discovered between January and October this year and which amounts to $73M. The prosecution is alleging that both Berry and Gibbs were involved in a fuel racket that has cost Cool Oasis approximately $100 million.
