Two others remain in hospital.
Relatives of those still in hospital and of the dead turned out for the tribute in the hotel’s large theatre. There was signing, prayers, reading from the scriptures and wonderful words about the lives of the fallen workers. It was all underlined by grief from those who knew them well. Candles were everywhere, on a large screen as well as at a specially set area where pictures of the four dead stood next to books signed by staff, relatives and friends. Senior hotel management also took part in the ceremony at which Rev Fr Aloyee Komu presided. Some workers bowed their heads or were supported by others in their sorrow while others sat stone faced.
