All major crimes, including murder, are down in St Ann.
According to a report presented to the St Ann Municipal Corporation (SAMC) Thursday, October 13, so far this year there have been 46 murders compared to 48 for the same period last year.
Other major crimes including shooting, robberies and break-ins ere also down.
Inspector Webster James who gave the report in the absence of commanding officer Senior Superintendent David White said he did not have details of the comparative data. However, he said these serious crimes were down compared to last year.
