A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN: A SUDDEN DEATH

Millicent Ranger –Walker was the face of Courts in Ocho Rios for more than 10 years. Last week Friday, September 19, she was  at work, doing what she does best, welcoming and making customers feel at ease and happy to do business. She was on her lunch break in the early afternoon when she fell over from her chair and died.The sudden death has shocked her family and many people in Breadnut Hill community, Ocho Rios, where she lives.Her 24-year-old son,  Ishan also called Shawn told the North Coast Times  he still can’t believe it. He says the death has hit them even harder than it otherwise might because less than a year and a half ago, his father Melroy Walker, died, April 10, 2013.She wasn’t sick, she had no form of sickness,” said Ishan Walker, struggling to understand what happened. “Matter of fact she went to doctor last week and doctor said she was fine…she was just getting over my father’s death…you know, she putting on weight and look fine again. You see all her pictures, a beautiful woman.”He said his three siblings, all female are devastated. They are Shantel, 21, Brittnia, 14 and Natal, sevenMr Walker, a chef at Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay said last week Friday he went to see his mother after he had a haircut and on his way to work. He said she was showing him off to her colleagues and teasing how “cute” he was. They parted with laughter looking toward a family event later that day.He left for work and just hours after was called and told he should get in touch with his aunt. She told him to come to the hospital. There, they told him his mother had died. She was dead before she got there. “She was going to buy cake and ice cream in the evening and we were going to have a party for my sister. It was her birthday.”  Natal was seven on Friday.
