COPS NOT RULING OUT LOVE TRIANGLE MOTIVE
Two people have been taken into custody and are being questioned in connection with the double murder in Portland this week.
Dead are Shadae Pink, 28, unemployed of Campbell Avenue and Keino James, 23, unemployed of John Town District, both in Port Antonio.
The Major Investigation Division (MID) of the Police has taken over the investigation and is being assisted by Portland CIB.
The two arrested are said to be connected to Miss Pink. North Coast Times understands that police are not ruling out two different possibilities of motives — a love triangle or lottery scamming.
Pink and James were shot dead shortly after 11 Tuesday night, May 23 while they and several other people were playing dominoes on Campbell Street.
A car, reportedly driven by a woman, came on the scene and a gunman exited the vehicle and fired, hitting Pink and James. They were pronounced dead at Port Antonio Hospital.
