Police have provided details of the stabbing death at Salem, St Ann Monday morning.
Dead is Christopher Raymond OC “Teetus” of Stand Pipe, Runaway Bay St. Ann. He had stab wounds.
Two other men were also stabbed and have been hospitalized.
Police say the man who was killed was among several who attacked a security guard, about 4:40 this morning at Truck Stop, a popular party scene, along the roadway in Salem. The security guard in fighting for his life disarmed the knife wielder and, according to police, defended himself.
It is reported that the security guard on duty was attacked with a knife. Police said the attacker’s friend “boosted” and encourage him to stab the security guard in his face. A struggle ensued between the man with the knife and the security officer during which other persons joined against the guard.
The security guard managed to get possession of his attacker’s knife.
When the tussle ended, the man who earlier had the knife was found unresponsive and appeared to be dead lying on the ground.
Two men from Mount Edgecombe in Runaway Bay received stab wounds and were admitted at hospital in serious but stable condition.
The security officer sustained stab wounds to his upper left shoulder and left index finger.
