The two men killed in the train crash in Retreat, St Ann Monday night have been identified.
They are Shane Powell, a security guard of Clarendon and Orlando Brown, of Brown’s Town, St. Ann
A police report said the bauxite train derailed its track in Retreat District, Brown’s Town, St. Ann on Sunday, November 20.
Reports are that at about 10:00 p.m., both men were aboard the train when it developed mechanical problems, derailed the track, and crashed in a gully. Both men received multiple injuries and died on the scene.
The scene was processed and their bodies were removed to the morgue. Investigations continue.
