Fontana Pharmacy staff and friends went all out in support of children’s homes, special needs schools and charity activities across the island leaving the children and overall recipients with deserving gifts for the Christmas and New Year’s Season.
The company, with pharmacies in Mandeville, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and the Corporate Area, believes it is its corporate responsibility to preserve the values of family and community within the areas it operates and to a greater extent the entire Jamaica.
Their activities over the festive season included a community treat, Santa visits, charitable contributions and providing customers and friends the opportunity to give a gift to some special children with Fontana’s Wishing Tree activity. The homes and schools that benefited for their activities included but were not limited to Robins Nest Children’s Home, the Salvation Army Windsor Lodge Children’s Home, the St Anthony’s and Mary’s Children’s Home, The St. John Bosco Boys’ Home, The Glenhope Nursery and The Woodlawn School for Special Education. They supported charities like the Sound di Alarm Music Festival in aid of the Linstead Hospital and hosted a treat for the Children of Barbican and surrounding communities.
