The march, which started at the fire station, proceeded through the town of Annotto Bay and ended at the St. Theresa Catholic Church for a community meeting. It came days after a couple was shot dead at home in Merry Trust Lane, Annotto Bay, St Mary in the early morning of Monday, January 13. Dead are: Camille Bell of Merry Trust Lane, Annotto Bay and 36-year-old Miguel Campbell otherwise called ‘Blacks’ of Aleppo, Highgate. Later that same day, their alleged killer, Oneil Anderson, who at one time had a relationship with Ms Bell, was shot dead by police. Police said he attacked them and was shot.
