Cousin Being Sought in Boscobel Stabbing Murder
BOSCOBEL, St Mary; Aug. 30, 2026
A St Mary man has been killed by a relative in a fight over a phone charger.
The deceased has been identified as Nashawn Williams, otherwise called “Checo,” of Boscobel View, St Mary.
Police are looking for a man believed to be Williams’ cousin who fled the scene after the killing.
Reports to the North Coast Times are that about 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, Williams and a male relative became involved in a dispute, reportedly over a phone charger. The disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation during which a knife was brought into play, and Williams was stabbed in the abdomen.
An alarm was raised, and Williams was assisted to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect fled the scene following the incident.
The St Mary police are investigating.
