PORT ANTONIO, Portland:
An unemployed man was shot and killed on Boundbrook Road in Port Antonio late Thursday afternoon, May 23, 2024..
Dead is 58-year-old labourer, Berty Bromley, of Garth Road, Portland. The death represents the sixth murder so far this year in Portland.
Bromley was reportedly standing on the road near a shop when, at about 5:45, a car drove up and shots were fired hitting him. The car sped off. The police were called and the man was taken to the Port Antonio Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police are carrying out investigations.
