KILLED AFTER HAVING DRINKS WITH FRIENDS

A 60-year-old man was shot and killed in his car outside a bar in his community of Golden Grove, St Ann, Saturday morning, March 22, 2025
Dead is Donovan James, a carpenter of Lyford district, Golden Grove in St Ann.
Reports from the Moneague Police are that at about 12:33 a.m., Saturday, James left a bar where he had been having drinks with friends and was sitting in an AD Wagon motorcar near the establishment when explosions were heard. Residents alerted the police.
When the lawmen arrived, they saw James lying on his back in the vehicle with gunshot wounds to the face.
He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police sources say the registration plates on the car did not match the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
