A six-year-old boy was killed yesterday afternoon when he was hit by a motorcar near his home at Yalland, near Brown’s Town, St Ann.
Dead is Oniel Williams, a student of Gibraltar Primary School.
The boy was on his way home from school. He had exited a taxi and reportedly ran across the road when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle. He was dragged several feet by the car.
The boy’s father was called to the scene and he put the body in a police car that took it to St Ann’s Bay Hospital where young Oneil Williams was pronounced dead.
