A man is now in the custody of the Moneague police after allegedly stabbing another man to death on Sunday, December 18 in Faith’s Pen, St Ann.
Dead is 54-year-old Franklin McDowell of Faith’s Pen in the parish.
Reports from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) are that at about 8:15 a.m., McDowell was involved in an argument with another man at the Faith’s Pen food arcade.
The dispute escalated, when the man used a knife to stab McDowell. The police were summoned and McDowell was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
McDowell’s attacker was later taken into custody.
The man’s identity has not been released pending further investigations.
