Two men and a woman from Steer Town, St Ann who were charged in relation to gun matters and lotto scamming had another mention date set when they appeared before the St Ann Circuit Court on Monday, October 10.
They are Delroy Morris, Delexia Morris, both unemployed and Zoie Williams, a chef.
They were charged with illegal possession of firearm; illegal possession of ammunition; possession of identity information and breaches of the Law Reform Fraudulent Transactions (Special Provisions Act of 2013), commonly called the Lotto Scamming Act.
It is alleged that on Wednesday, March 9, at about 12:15 p.m., a team of police officers carried out an operation at a house in Steer Town, St Ann. During the search, a rifle containing six nine millimeter rounds along with eight lead sheets containing identity information of persons living overseas, a laptop computer and a number of cell phones were recovered.
All three were arrested and charged.
They were all granted bail when they appeared before senior parish judge Andrea Thomas on Thursday, March 10 of this year.
Delaxia and Delroy Morris were then granted bail in the sum of $350,000 with sureties, while, the third accused, Williams was granted bail in the sum of $120,000. A curfew order is also in place for them.
Since then, Delexia Morris has breached his bail and was taken back into custody. He was granted bail again, after which he has committed an offense, details of which were not given in court. He is still remanded in custody.
The matter is set for mention on October 28, when the bail application for Delexia Morris will be made.
