BIKE CRASHES INTO PARKED TRUCK KILLING DRIVER, PILLION
RIO NUEVO, St Mary; Sept. 8, 2025
A second man has died from injuries in the early morning crash near Rio Nuevo, St Mary, on Saturday.
Dead are Renaldo Simms, also known as “Zombie,” the driver of the motorcycle, a raft captain at White River, and his pillion, known only as ‘Trace’.

Police said the crash occurred around 3:15 in the morning, Â September 6, near the Spring Valley entrance on the Rio Nuevo Main Road in St. Mary.
Reports are that A 2021 Cobra GC150NT motorcycle with two men aboard was travelling from Stewart Town, headed toward Tower Isle, when it collided with a parked 2017 Howo 375 motor truck on the roadway.

The collision proved fatal for both occupants of the motorcycle. Simms, the driver of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at Port Maria Hospital. The pillion rider, known only as “Trace,” received extensive injuries and was transferred from Port Maria to St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, where he died.
The St Mary Police told the North Coast Times that the incident is currently under thorough investigation, and anyone with valuable information to assist the probe is urged to contact the Prospect Police Station at 876-994-1487.
