24-YEAR-OLD TEACHER IS MISS ST ANN

Crowd Favuorite Places 3rd

A 24-year-old teacher beat the field of six other contestants, including an early crowd favourite, to be crowned Miss St Ann Festival Queen, Sunday. Ayoka Davis, a teacher at Port Maria High School, and university graduate, and a resident of Greenwich Acres, St Ann took the crown and two of the sectional prizes.

Early crowd favourite 24-year-old Nia Souden, university graduate and business development officer was second runner-up. Britanny Alexander 19-year-old public relations practitioner was the first runner-up.

The coronation show took place Sunday evening, June 18, at Cardiff Hotel and Spa, Runaway Bay, St Ann before an enthusiastic crowd.
