2014 Runaway Bay murder goes to Circuit

The case of four men, charged for the 2014 stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy, in Runaway Bay St Ann, was brought before parish judge Andrea Thomas in the St Ann Parish Court on Tuesday, January 17.

Charged are: brothers, Rojay and Tajar DaSilva and two of their friends, Akeen Alder and Adrian Christian.

The four are accused of murdering Lamar Williams of Black Ants Corner, in Runaway Bay St Ann.

Reports are that on the night of August 30, 2014, four machete wielding men attacked Williams in the said community. The North Coast Times was unable to obtain details as to what really transpired that night.

Reports at that time also stated a house occupied by two of the accused men was set ablaze as reprisal for Williams’ murder.

The case was committed to the Circuit Court and will be mentioned on May 15.objection
