Two people were murdered in St Ann between Friday night
and Saturday morning.
The latest killings push murders since February to six, and to
10 since January 1.
Dead are Thirty-two-year-old Wesley Trench of Runaway Bay,
and 18-year-old Kyle Dunn of Main Street, Ocho Rios, both in
St. Ann.
The body of Wesley Trench was found on the Priory main
road in the parish on Saturday, February 11. Reports from the
St. Ann’s Bay Police are that about 5:50 a.m., a man was
walking along the roadway in Priory when he stumbled upon
the body of Trench. The Police were summoned and on their
arrival, the body was seen lying on its back with stab wounds
in a pool of blood, beside a Hyundai jeep. The jeep belonged
to French who was employed to Celebrity Brands and who
also owned a bar.
And, 18-year-old Dunn was shot and killed in Pineapple at the
eastern end of Ocho Rios.
Police say that about 8 o’clock Friday evening, February 10, Dunn
and two other men were at a shop having drinks when they were
pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting them. The
Police were alerted and all three injured persons were taken to
hospital where Dunn was pronounced dead and the other two men
were admitted for treatment.

tourism resort
