Twenty one Housekeeping students at Health, Education and Counselling Institute (HECOIN) are singing high praises for the quality work accomplished during their six- week training programme leading to full international certification. The International skills training programme through City and Guilds of London Institute, which began in April 2014, was offered at Kingston, Spanish Town, Ocho Rios, Mandeville and Savanna-la-Mar Campuses of HECOIN. Vice President of Administration, Finance and International Marketing Colin O Jarrett said that HECOIN is synonymous with the highest level of success and was quick to point out that at every external examination level, HECOIN has maintained 100% passes. He remarked that the recently concluded Customer Service, Health Care Specialist, Health Care Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician and Pharmacy Technician examinations have all been at a 100% level pass-rate. Mr Jarrett commended all tutors, practicum sites/hotels and administrative assistants for ensuring that students were well prepared to sit this examination. HECOIN is associated with two licensed overseas employment agencies (LOEAs) which assist graduates with permanent employment in Canada leading to high salaries. Two job fairs are expected to be conducted in August 2014. These Canadian offers extend benefits to spouse and children.
